OverView
Aturion Dynasty is
a medevil mud with aliens to add a slight twist. The mud supports overhead
mapping, proffessions, reproffing (multi-classing), and remorting (based on ol emlen mud remort) The mud is written in such as manor as to not be over powerful and to encourage exploration.
Rules
The rules of the game are pretty standard. You should read them indepth on our rules page. But over all try to respect other players,
respect the admin and remember your playing on a privatly owned machine/game. We do
reserve the right to refuse access to anyone for any reason. Ignorance of the rules
will not be accepted as an excuse for breaking them. Please always remember the
chars your cussing out and being ignorant to are other people, real people with
real feelings. Also remember our players range in age from 8 years and up. Try to
keep the language respectable when speaking to them.
Auto Quests
Automated quests have been added to the world. Find a quest master, ask for a quest.
Upon completion your char will be rewarded with money and quest points which can be
used to purchase special no load items.
Travel Points (TP)
Travel points are what you get for walking around the world. Each time a
TP is 'stepped' on, it is redistributed to another location in the world.
They tend to collect in less frequently visited locations in the
world. tps are used for quests/sects and are used to mainly encourage
exploration of the world.
Pkill
Aturion Dynasty allows Pkilling It is allowed only between
alien-humaniod players, aliens are responcible for regulating
alien-alien Pkill. However no human-human player killing is allowed and
this will result in punishment of the offending party/parties. Also
corpse looting is not allowed between human-human players but is allowed
between alien-humaniod and alien-alien players.
Overhead Maping
The overhead mapping feature is a very popular on Aturion Dynasty. When
your character is outside you will see a map of the surrounding terrain
displayed in the top portion of your screen. The mapping works if your
terminal supports ANSI control characters. The map feature also shows the
locations of other players nearby. If you find that you do not like
mapping feature you can turn it off by simply typing 'map'.
